From EPC to 5G

Today I am chairing knect365 EPC World Forum. It’s a one day conference about the Evolved Packet Core which is done now in 2016 for the first time. I had been working with the EPC the last 9 years. Preparing for the session I was asking myself why there is a conference on the EPC now, when it has been around since 2007. I have written a short report about it and you can find it here at my slidehsare. The one line summary is that with 5G, things are getting serious for the EPC but I wrote 25 pages about it and didn’t have much time for good graphics.
